Diabetes is a chronic health condition that affects how your body turns food into energy. Which makes it long lasting. Everyone's body breaks down most of the food they eat into sugar called glucose that gets releases it into your bloodstream. Insulin acts like a key to let the blood sugar into your body's cells for use as energy. When your blood sugar goes up, your pancreas gets signaled to release insulin. When you have diabetes, the body doesn't make produce enough insulin isn't able to use it as well as it should. When the body doesn't have enough insulin, the cells stop responding to insulin, too much blood sugar stays in your bloodstream. Over the course of time, that can lead to serious health problems and issues which are know to be heart disease, vision loss, and kidney disease and more.
